Emiko Davies 'Gohan' Book Launch

Celebrate the launch of Gohan: Everyday Japanese Cooking, with best selling author Emiko Davies in conversation with Joanna Saville.

Held in the Edith room at Dear Prudence, a charming wine bar perfect for celebrating the joy of food, with snacks provided with each ticket. Families are welcome, children enter for free.

We are thrilled to host Emiko and Joanna in Canberra for a very special event.

In Gohan which has just launched in Australia, Emiko writes:

This book is an ode to the everyday meals that you find in the homes of mothers and grandmothers of Japan. It is the food that I grew up with, the food that I get nostalgic for and the food I like to make my family when we need nourishment”.

Emiko Davies is an award winning Australian Japanese food writer, Photographer and cookbook author. Growing up in a diplomatic family she spent most of her life growing up in countries other than her own, and she now calls Italy home.
